The snow started falling in a seriously big way yesterday evening. All through the night the roof was sliding away and when we woke up in the morning the world has turned white. It went from fiery autumn bliss to a winter wonderland in a heart beat and that is why we love Madarao.
Popped out on the lawn and tested the new electric snow blower that will go to Yukimi. It was amazing. Rated at 30cm but perfectly fine in the 43cm's delivered by the snow gods.
It is now bluebird and we are expecting to see some tracks down the mountain today from intrepid hikers (Who have rock hoppers. 40cm of Madarao pow does not a base make).
Looks like it is going to be a big winter. We haven't had snow like this so early in the 9 years since we have been here!!!
